PAB Appointed as Architects and Lead Consultant for Diplomatic Buildings for the State of Kuwait in Malaysia


Perunding Alam Bina Sdn Bhd (PAB) has won an invited competition between 10 shortlisted architecture firms to design new buildings for the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Malaysia. The contract between Managing Director, Ar. Dennis Teoh and Ambassador H.E. Saad Abdullah Al-Sousi was signed at the Embassy of Kuwait on Wednesday, 23 November 2016.

The contract is for the provision of design services for the new Embassy and Consulate Building, Ambassador’s Residence and Six Diplomat’s Residences in Putrajaya. The winning design incorporates elements from traditional and contemporary Kuwaiti architecture adapted to suit the tropical climate of Malaysia. The proposed buildings are located on the hillside of the Diplomatic Precinct in Putrajaya with commanding views of the city skyline and lake.

PAB leads a consortium of consultants comprising Six Design Office (6DO) (Design Consultants for the Diplomat’s Residences), NDY (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Mechanical and Electrical Engineers), Straits Consulting Engineers Sdn Bhd (Civil and Structural Engineers) and Jurukur FPS Sdn Bhd (Quantity Surveyors).
