Menara PJH (Lot 2C2)
Cox Architecture collaborating with PAB served as design consultants for The new headquarters building for Putrajaya Holdings at a waterfront location in the heart of Putrajaya. Upon completion of the tender stage, Jafri Merican Architects were novated to the job as the submitting Architect appointed by the builder.
The building form has been conceived as 3 courtyard buildings forming the podium for a dramatic office tower. The 4 storey courtyard buildings are separated to provide both permeability through the site and to provide ideal office plates with access to natural light and views. The tower features floor plates of 22,600 sq.ft. with a side core arrangement to create singular spaces suitable for a team driven work culture and help to maximize net
lettable area. The project also focuses on the provision of ESD (Environmentally
Sustainable Design) initiatives by providing real, sustainable solutions to building design issues rather than token gestures.
Menara PJH distinguishes itself by skillfully overcoming its programmatic bulk with a composition of podium blocks and slab tower nestled at a waterfront site. The distribution of blocks maximises views and invites daylight into working spaces.
