A Contemporary Approach to Public Healthcare

PAB was invited to participate in the Design & Build tender exercise for the Port Dickson Specialist Hospital where we provided a holistic design solution comprising architecture, health facility planning, landscape architecture and interior design. We were inspired to create a cost-effective yet innovative and contemporary approach to the building architecture and interior design. Bright colours of the facade is juxtoposed against the warm and welcoming design of the interiors.

The new annexe at Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur (GKL) is a hallmark display of GKL’s endeavour to excellence. The 10-storey building situated next to the iconic main building of GKL is part of an RM220 million investment to further galvanise GKL’s position in world class medical and healthcare services. The new annexe at GKL will accommodate 100 beds, 51 specialist consultation suites, 23 retail lots and three VIP in-patient suites. It will also be home to a one stop Health Screening Centre that is equipped with state of the art diagnostic facilities in Endoscopy, Neurology, Spirometry, Audiology and Women’s Health. GKL’s long term commitment in caring for people is evident in the new annexe. Built and outfitted in accordance to Green Building Index (GBI) standards, the new annexe is built with the consideration to promote sustainability and eco-conscientiousness, from the ground up.
